Tunnel Vision, 2017, 12×16, Acrylic on Canvas, Not for Sale – In Private Collection
Another of my favorite spots growing up as a kid in Columbus was Mill Race Park, in particular the follies Stanley Saitowitz incorporated into Michael Van Valkenberg’s landscape design. The subject of this painting is a folly that is essentially a long seating tunnel, covered with ivy, combining nature and architecture.
Exhibited in OUTside the PRACTICE at Bridgeport Art Center, Chicago 2018
